Algerian Font For Mac
I copied the OP conky, ran the convert.lua on it and it loads for me.
Here's the converted conkyrc
Edit: I'm used to testing/running various conky configs so i forget that most users don't know they can test conkys that are not the conkyrc file by running the conky command with the -c option.
That option allows it to run any conky config file regardless if it's the conkyrc or not.
So you can copy the config I posted and save under a new/different name and run the conky command with
replace new-conky-here with whatever name you give.
This helps so you don't lose the original.
Algerian Font For Mac
Overview
Algerian traces its origins to the British foundry, Stephenson Blake and Co., in 1911. In the mid-1980s, URW digitized Algerian. The style in Algerian typifies the writing on signs in Spain and countries on the north coast of Africa, possibly reflecting the influence of Arabic calligraphers and signmakers. More decorative than its Latin counterpart, traditional Arabic calligraphy is characterized by an ornamental flavor used to enhance individual characters and sometimes whole pages.
Plain Times (long bundled with the Mac) is a apparently a knock-off of Times New Roman but I prefer it. An underappreciated font is AmourTendre, which is old freeware. That is much less offensive than Comic Sans. Microsoft’s core font package was nearly 100% ugly fonts (with Verdana, which is a pretty good web font only, as the exception. I probably need to update my.conkyrc but the automatic tool didn't help for that, maybe someone can tell me what I need to change here?
